Rapid tests are better than their reputation

The idea of enabling events with the help of rapid tests has already been presented by Thomas Albinger, CEO of Companeer GmbH, in an earlier column. Albinger now continues the “Christmas story”.

Before Christmas, we at Companeer unceremoniously set up our own test center in our currently unused meeting zone, under medical supervision, of course. We wanted to optimize the processes so that as many people as possible could be tested in as short a time as possible without causing crowding. We have managed to do that. But the challenge is always waiting at unexpected corners. The most common question was, “Are rapid tests even reliable?”
